| Subj: New capacity
HPM North America Corporation, a subsidiary of Yizumi Group, purchased the land with attached building in Morrow County, Ohio in November 2015. Two years later, in addition to the corporate name change to Yizumi-HPM Corp., the Company also put its new factory into use in October.
Representatives of Ohio’s state government and Morrow County government, customers and partners of Yizumi-HPM Corp. and friends from well-known industry media outlet such as Plastics News attended the event.
The new building of Yizumi-HPM covers an area of 28,327 square meters, including a 1,922 sqm workshop and an approx.500 sqm office area. The Company’s new headquarters shall serve as a technical center and material storage center for HPM products, showcasing the Company’s major products and advanced molding technologies to customers and it will provide mold trial service if necessary. Besides, the old factory of Yizumi-HPM will become a site for machine refurbishment and repair services.
As for HPM North America Corp. being renamed Yizumi-HPM Corp. earlier this year, General Manager of Yizumi Injection Molding Machine Division James Zhang said, “Based on Yizumi’s advantages in innovative product technology and customer service, the change of brand name is to inject more vitality into HPM, a traditional and well-known brand, and to strengthen the confidence of North American customers. Yizumi achieved a 22.63% year-on-year sales growth of injection molding machines in the first half of this year, becoming increasingly influential in the global market. The corporate name change is also to better show the North American market and customers the strength and image of Yizumi, HPM’s parent company.”
Yizumi-HPM’s sales in the North American market surge this year. In the first three quarters of 2017, the sales of die casting machines were $5,774,000, with a substantial year-on-year increase compared with last year’s $610,000. At the same time, the business of injection molding machines remained steady. Earlier in June, the HPM4500T largest die casting machine ever built by Yizumi and Yizumi-HPM was successfully delivered to Walker Die Casting and put into use. With the opening of Yizumi-HPM’s new factory and the introduction of DP series, A5 series, FE series and PAC series to the North American market, Yizumi’s competitiveness in the local market is expected to be greatly enhanced.
