Additives suppliers sign up for Compounding World Expo 2018

The Compounding World Expo 2018 is attracting strong interest from additives suppliers with many leading players booking stands in the four months since the exhibition was launched. Omya, Imerys and Solvay/Cytec are among the latest companies to sign up for the exhibition, which will take place on 27-28 June 2018 at Messe Essen in Germany.

Organised by AMI and Compounding World magazine, the trade fair will be free-to-attend and will feature a packed programme of seminars, industry debates and technical presentations.

We have seen large numbers of suppliers of minerals and functional fillers join our exhibitor list in recent weeks, said Matt Wherlock, AMIs exhibition sales and marketing manager. They include Imerys, IMI Fabi, LKAB, Magnesia Germany, Mondo, Omya, Reverte and Victor Meyer. These companies join a growing number of exhibitors offering a very broad range of additives, including JavaChem, Krahn Chemie, MPI Chemie, OCSiAl, Polyscope, Solvay/Cytec, Velox and Zhejiang Xusen.

On the machinery front, the leading suppliers of extruders, kneaders, mixers and complete turn-key compounding lines. They already include Brabender, Buss, Coperion, Dr Collin, Extricom / CPM Century Extrusion, Farrel Pomini, Feddem, ICMA San Giorgio, JSW, KraussMaffei Berstorff, Leistritz, Mixaco, Plasmec, Promixon, SM Platek, Steer, and Xinda.

We continue to be very pleased with the extremely positive response to our launch of the first focused exhibition for the thermoplastics compounding industry, said Andy Beevers, events and magazines director at AMI. The large exhibition hall is already filling up fast and we are receiving lots of interest from throughout the supply chain.
