Chemtura to Increase Prices of ROYALTUF(R) 485 and 498 Products

Chemtura Corporation (NYSE:CEM) is announcing a worldwide off list price increase of $0.44/kg for all ROYALTUF(R) 485 and 489 products, effective August 1, 2008, or where contracts allow.

Continued cost escalation for raw materials and energy has made this increase necessary.

Chemtura Corporation (NYSE:CEM), with 2007 sales of $3.7 billion, is a global manufacturer and marketer of polymer additives, performance specialties, consumer and crop protection products.
